In a long line of heroes stretching from the greens of Lexington and Concord to the mountains of Afghanistan, and the sands of Iraq, selfless patriots have defended our lives and liberties with valor and honor.  They have been ordinary Americans who loved their country so profoundly that they were willing to give their lives to keep it safe and free.

Our Wall of Heroes is always being updated.  If your loved one is a Fallen service member from California and their name and biography is not listed on the Wall of Heroes, please contact us with complete details and photograph.

Maps can be found under the title bar "The Run" which contains details as to where a service member's Flag and Bio will be positioned on the 150 mile course as well as the approximate time.

If you would like us to add items such as pictures, letters or make any changes to their Bio please contact us.

Field of Flags

The Field of Flags will be located at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery for viewing on Sunday, 13 October 2019 from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Our Fallen CA Heroes

They went with songs to the battle, they were young, 
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow. 
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted; 
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: 
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. 
At the going down of the sun and in the morning 
We will remember them.
